ERM receives Business Achievement Award for its climate change work
19 February 2014
ERM was recognised with a Business Achievement Award for the contributions it made to mitigating climate change in 2013. Presented by the Climate Change Business Journal (CCBJ), ERM was selected in the Consulting and Engineering: Energy and Carbon Management category for building on its substantial environmental work with the oil and gas industry. This work was driven by US EPA reporting requirements and by the growing recognition in the oil and gas industry that energy and Green House Gas (GHG) management is an important part of large capital project planning, and a metric relied upon by investors and other stakeholders in today’s business environment.
“This award is a great piece of recognition for ERM and our 300+ employees who are working internationally with clients in the oil and gas industry on air quality and GHG reporting and mitigation,” stated Ken Weiss, Managing Partner of ERM’s Air Quality and Climate Change Practice. ”Carbon management opportunities are a rapidly growing part of our Practice and a part of ERM’s offering that differentiates us in the capital project support market space.”
