Larry Cahill Authors Ninth Edition of Environmental Health and Safety Audits

ERM Technical Director Larry Cahill has authored the latest edition of Environmental, Health and Safety Audits – its ninth edition.
Used as a text for technical courses by over 40 colleges and universities across North America – including the University of California-Irvine and Indiana University – it is also utilized around the world at institutions such as the University of Wales and Thammasat University in Thailand.
This new edition of Environmental Health and Safety Audits not only helps to put companies on course toward effective environmental compliance, but also now brings readers up to date on changes in:
- EPA and OSHA auditing policies,
- issues currently confronting auditing programs, and
- state-of-the-art strategies for managing and conducting audits.
Larry provides all the information needed to conduct audits and manage an EH&S auditing program, discusses new developments in information generation and availability, and provides several tools for building a successful audit program.

Larry is a Certified Professional Environmental Auditor with Master Certification, and a Technical Director with ERM based in North America. He has over 25 years’ professional EH&S experience in industry and consulting including working for a number of Fortune 500 companies. He has conducted hundreds of audits, and has trained thousands of people in auditing skills all over the world, from Asia and Africa to South America, and throughout Europe and North America.
