23 - 25 May 2016

About Stewardship 2016

In an ever-changing world of new scientific developments, government policies and regulations, and public accountability, product stewardship professionals face unique challenges and responsibilities. Not only must you be well informed on global safety, environmental and regulatory issues, you also must have a comprehensive understanding of numerous technical subjects and a variety of project management, communications, and other effective professional skills – a tremendous responsibility. Stewardship 2016 will help you address those challenges by bringing together prominent product stewardship professionals to present and discuss global emerging issues, case studies, practical experiences, and new developments.

Kerrie Canavan, Consultant at ERM, will speak on Tuesday, May 24th on the challenges and solutions of multi-jurisdictional compliance. Ms. Canavan will focus on the fact that because there is not one unifying mode of compliance under different regulatory processes, businesses must adapt to manage the submission process and avoid delays in the supply chain. In this express session, the challenges and successes of concurrent product registrations in numerous countries will be discussed, illustrating key points reflecting the complexities of complying with common international requirements and best methods to adapt to these challenges. She will present how organizational strategies can be created for efficient submission coordination and applied to a variety of regulatory notification schemes. In addition, Ms. Canavan will discuss solutions that can help ease the complexities of multi-jurisdictional compliance that can lead toward process standardization.
