Business 4 Breakfast : Human Rights and the Financial Sector

Wednesday 24 May 2017
8h00 to 9h30

ERM is hosting a Business 4 Breakfast focusing on human rights and how it impacts business.

The financial sector may have thought human rights did not concern them, but with the recent human rights covenant led by the Social and Economic Council of the Netherlands (SER) and Dutch banks, the OECD Guidelines and their application to the Financial sector, and incidents at portfolio companies, human rights is increasingly on the agenda.

In this high-paced morning event, a panel of practitioners from banks, private equity and corporations will share insights on the impact of human rights supply chain topics on companies they finance and invest in, and what you can do next to manage these risks. ERM Principal Consultant Kate Larsen, who specializes in human rights, supply chain and Corporate Responsibility strategy, will be included on the panel.

This breakfast event will be a great opportunity to meet fellow financial sector participants including banks, private equity and pension funds. The event will be held in English and is free of charge. It will be accompanied by a light breakfast.
