Our series of Global Remediation Management Roundtables held in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific provide the opportunity for senior business leaders to discuss and find solutions to manage risks and generate value from impaired sites and liability portfolios.
ERM organizes and facilitates the roundtable, but the agenda and content will reflect topics selected by the participants. The event will appeal to those who appreciate sharing experiences and learning from peers in a relaxed and open environment.
The roundtable will take place from Monday to Wednesday. As at previous roundtables, we will organize a pre-dinner social event on Tuesday evening.
Topics for Discussion
Initial ideas of topics to be covered include:
- Liability portfolios: Sharing cross-sector approaches and best practice. What does good look like? What opportunities exist to maximize and quantify value from your portfolio?
- How can you leverage assets in your liability portfolio to deliver your carbon-reduction and biodiversity targets?
- Digital & Data Analytics: Sharing recent digital developments. How can digitalization deliver value, at site and portfolio level?
- Regulatory developments in Europe and beyond.
- Technical trends: Emerging contaminants (focus on PFAS & microplastics), circularity, climate change resilience.

Timing and format
The roundtable will kick off with evening dinner on Monday 30th September. Interactive sessions will be held on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd, with a social event, dinner and drinks on Tuesday evening. The roundtable will close mid-afternoon on Wednesday 2nd October.
