ISSB Standards, TCFD & Climate Risk Reporting 2024

Irem Yerdelen is the leading Partner of ERM’s Corporate Sustainability & Climate Change services in Northern Europe, that involves strategic advisors, subject matter technical experts, consulting staff and other Partners.

Irem brings decades of insurance and risk industry experience, having worked on (re)insurance and alternative risk solutions for global complex risks. Irem is currently advising Corporate and Financial sector clients to manage their transition to a low carbon economy, from strategy and reporting to operationalising sustainability imperatives, including all types of ESG, Climate, and Net Zero related matters.

Hannah is a Managing Consultant in ERM’s Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change team based in London, UK. Hannah specialises in supporting clients with their climate risk and response processes, as per international standards and benchmarks (such as TCFD/ISSB, EU Taxonomy, CSRD and CDP).

She helps clients to understand the physical and financial risks that climate change presents to their operations, supply and value chains, and to identify both practical and strategic ways to respond to them.

She has managed and delivered projects across the climate change space, and for diverse clients. This work includes high-level and enhanced scenario analysis, financial impact modelling, disclosure and strategy, as well as adaptation and resilience interventions.

Max is an Associate Partner in ERM’s Corporate Sustainability & Climate Change team based in Edinburgh, UK. He has been with ERM since the inception of TCFD. He is Global Co-Head for Climate Risk at ERM and leads ERM’s UK Climate Risk & Opportunity Advisory team, a group of more than 25 consultants focused on climate risk.

Max focuses on the transition elements of climate risk, and he leads the development of the service for ERM globally. This includes incorporating emerging regulation and standards, e.g. ISSB, scenario analysis, and financial impact quantification.
