Paola has worked on projects in various sectors, implementing and maintaining EHS Management Systems, auditing EHS systems, and preparing environmental management plans. She has ample knowledge and experience in applying valid environmental standards and environmental management plans involving soil, air, and water resources. She is also an EHSQ internal auditor. She has gained experience in successful projects that benefit from implementing EHSQ management systems. She provides the company with a tool for decreasing the number of non-complying products and the number of fines and sanctions for legal environmental non-compliance.

Ricardo currently leads the Liability Portfolio Management and Remediation practice at NLAC. He specializes in active and passive remediation processes, environmental assessments, phases I and II, site characterization, mergers and acquisitions, risk assessments, and EHS audits. He has experience in developing Risk Based Corrective Actions (RBCA). He has more than 20 years of industrial experience and more than 15 years of consulting experience.

Mr. Patiño is a senior consultant who helped major companies provide support on regulatory compliance, including identifying legal obligations, risk assessment, compliance and permitting strategy, implementation, communication with the authorities, and delivery of regulatory products aligned with clients’ needs. This includes consistent work in legal interpretation and interdisciplinary work with technical teams to ensure that the Client´s goals and objectives are met.

Having worked with major companies in their compliance strategies, Mr. Patiño is familiar with the industry's regulatory challenges and the workflows of HSE, legal, and government relations departments.
