Our sixth session of 2025 featured ERM experts Jen Klie and Mike Mangiante, who discussed the current state of mandatory and voluntary sustainability-related disclosure. The conversation focused specifically on CSRD and California’s regulations. They shared insights on how companies can maintain momentum, balance compliance with value creation, and prepare for upcoming requirements, as well as lessons learned from recent client work.

Jen Klie, Partner, ERM

Jen works closely with clients to enhance their environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices, tools, and performance. She is experienced in developing integrated reports, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable business strategy development. She is well versed in assessing the maturity of her clients’ ESG performance. Jen leverages her expertise to develop corporate sustainability reports, perform gap analysis, and support clients in sustainability ratings and rankings.​

Mike Mangiante, Partner, ERM

Mike is an ERM Partner in Washington, DC, with over 10 years of experience in climate risk assessment and sustainability. Mike is ERM's Global Climate Risk &Resiliency Co-Lead and has developed innovative solutions to evaluate climate risks and opportunities for organizations across multiple sectors. As part of this, Mike has developed approaches to prepare clients for disclosures (such as CSRD, SEC, and IFRS) and to integrate climate-driven risk information into clients' internal processes such as enterprise risk and capital allocation. He has led over 50 TCFD-aligned climate risk assessments for various sectors and has led clients’ integration of scenario analysis into Climate Transition Plans.
