ERM Consultants Canada Ltd. (ERM), the world’s largest specialist sustainability consultancy, has announced the formation of Ka∙kin Environmental Consultants Limited Partnership, a majority equity joint venture (JV) with Ka∙kin Group Ltd., the economic development arm of Yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡi’it.

The new entity Ka∙kin Environmental Consultants (KEC), combining Ka∙kin’s access to Indigenous community needs with ERM’s strategic and technical sustainability expertise, will focus on providing clients with environmental services in the southeast region of British Columbia, Canada. These services will include water stewardship, nature and biodiversity, site closure, and environmental permitting.
