Pieterjan is a partner and Global Account Director in the Energy Sector at ERM with 25+ years of experience. He is passionate about the challenges and opportunities that come with a global energy transition. In particular he is enthusiastic about helping large organisations address their business imperatives and drivers in a volatile and complex business environment: Sustainability - Low Carbon Economy and Energy Transition - Investment/Finance - Business Performance & Resilience - EHS. As Global Account Director, Pieterjan is responsible for building and maintaining a global partnership with ENGIE and Ocean Winds. In this role he combines relevant client and market insights with ERM's global capablities in order to continuously be able to bring our best value in a consistent way.

Phil Durrant is Partner Lead within ERM's Capital Project Delivery, with 35+ years of experience and proven business development and leadership skills who focuses on the delivery of outstanding services and products. Hel has a track record of delivering significant and sustained commercial growth through focused business development, mergers and acquisitions and intelligent strategic partnerships.

Phil has significant experience in project manging a wide range of services on an international basis and has overseen data acquisition projects across the globe. With a strong back ground in geophysics he has added a sound and robust understanding of environmental and geotechnical project requirements which enable him to provide a comprehensive overview to clients and promote an integrated approach to data handling. Having initially worked offshore surveying sites, routes and cables/pipelines for a range of Oil and Gas operators he has developed his skills to keep pace with the energy transition working on marine renewable projects, including offshore wind and tidal, both across Europe and in the US. Now at ERM he offers his extensive experience to a range of clients to support then in delivering their projects in accordance with the regulatory framework and their own sustainable development goals. 

Cristina is a Partner at ERM with experience in change management, sustainable business transformation, program & project management, facilitation & coaching, multi-stakeholder engagement. Cristina supports ERM clients in large, complex transformation journeys, energy transition projects, and digital and sustainability transformation. Currently, she is the Global Account Manager for one our key clients in the renewables & power sector. Cristina excels at partnering with client to understand their needs in strategic & operational areas, support scoping their needs and create ERM teams to successfully deliver renewables & sustainability projects. General knowledge of offshore, onshore, hydrogen, sustainability and decarbonization plans and challenges in the energy sector. Having a background in change management, I support the client understand how change & transformation can support them accelerate implementation of their energy transition & sustainability plans.

Cristina has 20+ years of experience developing and implementing transformational change, executive support and employee engagement strategies for international companies. She uses her strategic thinking and analytical skills to drive innovation and operational excellence for enhanced business results. She is also a skilled facilitator and a certified project manager. She has delivered projects for clients in the energy, financial and manufacturing sectors. Cristina is a strategic thinker with a strong drive to achieve successful business outcomes. She is a diplomatic individual with excellent strategic vision, analytical- and communications skills. She holds an MBA by Durham University; PROSCI, Agile and PM certifications and a master’s in communications.

Mauricio Pereira has enjoyed a long-term career in renewable energy, having focused on the leadership of technical teams and project sponsorship. He has worked in EMEA, LATAM, and NA, where has had the opportunity to experience renewable markets at different stages of maturity.

Mauricio is an expert in project development and has a proven track record in participating in the assessment of 100+ GW of solar, wind and energy storage projects.

Throughout his career, Mauricio has advised on services as Technical and E&S due diligence, measurement campaign definitions, solar, wind and SCADA data analysis, wind and solar farm inspections, energy analysis, and others. Mauricio trained as a Mechanical Engineer and is a Chartered Engineer by the IMechE UK.

Ben has directed and managed multidisciplinary renewable power, linear and large infrastructure projects (onshore and offshore) complying with local permitting regimes and guided by international best practice, in Europe, Africa and North America. His recent experience includes directing onshore windfarm, solar PV and BESS developments in Scotland and England (S36, DCO and T&CP applications). Ben is experienced at working with clients, funding institutions and regulators alike to identify, assess and appropriately manage project risks and benefits. 

Simone is a Consulting Director with extensive experience in driving project development across a broad range of sectors, including Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Conventional Power, and Infrastructure. His expertise in the energy sector covers offshore and onshore gas pipeline projects, gas exploration, offshore and onshore wind farms, photovoltaic installations, concentrating solar plants, battery storage and transmission lines.

He specializes in pre‑feasibility assessments, site selection, Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA), and post‑consenting services for both national and international assets. His professional background spans numerous regions across Europe, Africa, Central America, and the Asia‑Pacific area, with project experience in Albania, Algeria, Angola, Ghana, Guinea, the Republic of Congo, Colombia, Mexico, Greece, Ivory Coast, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Mozambique, Kosovo, Senegal, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Zambia, Kenya, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, India, and the Philippines.

Throughout his career, Simone has collaborated with leading global organizations, including Eni, Eni Plenitude, Edison, Saipem, Shell, Statoil, WPD, Engie, Iberdrola Renewables, Eurowind, MedWind, AerSoleir, European Energy, Aven Hexicon, Guinea Aluminum Corporation, the Trans Adriatic Pipeline, Solvay, Federal Mogul, Spectrum, Globeleq, Ciprel, Tractebel Engineering, Total, RWE, and ABEI Energy.

Ally is a marine consultant in ERM's Capital Projects team in Glasgow, with over eight years of professional experience. She initially started as a terrestrial ecologist, working on various projects across the UK, including onshore wind farms. Ally transitioned into digital aerial survey as a lead analyst. She has experience working in UK Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) waters, including the Celtic Sea, Irish Sea, and North Sea, as well as in international regions on pre- and post-consenting ornithology and megafauna Digital Aerial Surveys (DAS) for offshore wind farm study areas. 

Since joining ERM, Ally has focused on marine mammals and ornithology, conducting impact assessments for a variety of marine projects, including offshore renewables, restoration projects, carbon capture, floating wind, and subsea cables. She has led and supported baseline studies, collision risk modelling, impact assessments, key consenting advice, and technical deliverables related to marine mammals and ornithology. Her work also includes international projects, such as offshore wind farms in South Korea and France. Additionally, she has diversified into offshore migratory bat impact assessments for Scottish offshore wind farms.

Maria is leading ERM's Capital Projects Delivery Service in Europe, Middle East and Africa, with a focus on growing our work on Renewable and Sustainable Energy Projects across EMEA.

We help clients address the complex change needed to transition towards a net zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions planet, helping them with the development of strategies, as well as supporting the full life-cycle of the lower carbon infrastructure projects (e.g. renewable energy, hydrogen, and other) around the world.

In her +25 years of experience in the sustainability consulting sector  she has gained experience in a variety of fields, including eight years as Managing Partner of our Spain and Portugal operations, Global Account Director for a leading Renewable Energy developer, leading complex multimillion dollar environmental consulting studies in challenging locations such as Iraq or North Africa, supporting social performance projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, to name a few. In her day to day, she is motivated by trying to inspire people to give the best of themselves for a better world, both colleagues and the clients we serve.
