Yvonne is a Principal Technical Consultant specialising in stakeholder engagement. With 10 years industry experience from both the developer and consultant side, Yvonne has extensive experience of engaging with stakeholders from Government to Community groups, including the Irish and European seafood sector. Yvonne has on-the-ground experience of first phase consultation with new region offshore wind developments and has developed successful engagement strategies to create and build on fisheries relationships in early-stage feasibility studies for ORE developments and beyond. She represents Wind Energy Ireland on the Seafood ORE Working Group (a Government initiative to facilitate communication between the ORE and Seafood sectors in Ireland). Working with the Dutch Embassy in her role as Dutch/Irish Offshore Industry Liaison, Yvonne is the conduit for government, academic and industry supply chain opportunities between both countries.
Wind energy is already undeniably a powerful and successful source of renewable energy in Ireland with an important future ahead as sustainability becomes top priority for homes and businesses across the country and the target net zero position of Ireland’s Climate Action plan, edges ever closer. This is Ireland’s most important annual renewable energy event, with the recent announcement of ESB and Ørsted as the winners of the 900 MW Tonn Nua offshore wind auction there is momentum building in delivering and ERM are proud to to contributing and being part of the growth of energy revolution in Ireland!
