Christina Phang

ERM Principal Partner, Safety Services APAC

Christina has over 30 years’ safety experience including process safety and loss prevention matters during project development, commissioning and construction through to operational and decommissioning phases of facilities in the oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor and technology sectors. Christina is a Fellow of the IChemE and a Professional Process Safety Engineer as well as Chair of the IChemE Safety & Loss Prevention Special Interest Group (SIG).

Christina has been involved in supporting safety risk management decisions for multinational companies globally covering Canada, United Kingdom, Qatar, Africa, Australia and all of Asia and was awarded the IChemE 2016 Franklin Medal in recognition of her outstanding service in the field of process and occupational safety and the environment.

Ian Hamilton

Partner, Global Human Factors Lead

Ian Hamilton is a Partner at ERM with 36 years of experience in the delivery of safety technical consultancy services. Ian is a Chartered Human Factors Specialist with the UK Chartered Institute of Human Factors and Ergonomics and a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society. As a Psychologist specialising in the management of human and organisational performance, Ian has worked in safety system development, and operational and safety assurance in a wide range of industries. This experience includes air transportation, rail transport, highways, construction power generation and distribution, chemical processing, manufacturing, upstream and downstream oil and gas, mining, healthcare, and shipping. This versatility derives from his skill in the analysis of human tasks and error in industrial processes.
