Simon is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), Registered Functional Safety Engineer (RFSE) and TÜV Rheinland Functional Safety Expert (both SIS and PH&RA) with extensive experience in safety-related applications. His expertise in process and functional safety is supported by a strong background in high-volume manufacturing. He is UK expert representative on the international committees for development and maintenance of safety standards IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 and has worked in the specification, design, management, and assessment of safety-related systems for over 20 years.
