Ryan is a Principal Environmental Consultant, specialising in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), with experience of delivering offshore and onshore consents for Offshore Wind Farm projects.

James is a Principal Consultant with ERM, with 12 years of marine consenting, licencing and permitting experience gained in the UK (TCPA, DCO & Section 36) and internationally. He lead ERM’s marine consents team focussing on energy generating and distribution projects including offshore wind (fixed and floating), tidal and subsea cables. James has successfully led consenting requirements for the renewable energy sector, both from a consultant and a offshore wind developer's perspective. His non-energy related experience include ports and harbours having spent 3 years working for an environmental consultancy in Vancouver, Canada. Areas of expertise include screening and scoping, site routing and constraints analysis, consenting strategy, EIA development and project management of large multidisciplinary teams. 

Huw has a scientific background with a PhD in coastal processes from Southampton, but has spent most of his career in commercial roles supporting marine infrastructure developments across sectors such as LNG, O&G production and, over the last 20 years, offshore wind. Huw has held roles with Cefas, that of executive director of an offshore survey consultancy undertaking site surveys for array and export cable characterisations, a period with Orsted as Head of UK Environment and Consents and, more recently, as a Partner with ERM providing environmental and sustainability expertise to offshore wind developers and operators.
