Nick is a Partner at ERM, one of the world’s leading sustainability consultancies and his current focus centres around ESG enabled capital project delivery, working with investors and developers to deliver successful projects and portfolios. He is currently focused on decarbonised infrastructure in the UK and the Middle East and has worked extensively in Europe, Africa, Asia and North America over the past two decades. His experience includes leadership of bankable studies for clients financed by the IFC, UKIB and EBRD as well as numerous infrastructure investment funds. He has led the EIA and ESIA process for mining and extractives projects ranging from coal bed methane extraction in Botswana to, most recently the Cornish Lithium Trelavour project in the UK. He holds an MBA from the Henley Business School and a Masters in International Law and has held board positions on several professional and public organisations in recent years.
The conference is dedicated to the sustainability and responsible extraction of metals and minerals within the United Kingdom, with a focus on exploring future investment opportunities in the country. Established by Cornish Lithium, the conference has seen ERM actively participating, presenting, and sponsoring the event since 2021.
This year, the conference will inaugurate a Geothermal Forum on its first day. In collaboration with the International Geothermal Association, this forum aims to unite the geothermal community to discuss and advance the geothermal power sector.
