In addition to our sponsorship, ERM will be actively contributing to the conference through a dedicated workshop titled “Integrating Indigenous Perspectives and Traditional Knowledge into Closure Planning: Opportunities for Practical Application”. Co-hosted with Agnico Eagle, this workshop will explore how Indigenous knowledge and perspectives—particularly from circumpolar regions. Topics will include climate change adaptation, culturally relevant monitoring programs, and the intersection of Indigenous knowledge with western science in closure planning.
