ERM at the 2026 AIChE Spring Meeting and 22nd Global Congress on Process Safety (GCPS)

Larry has over 25 years of experience in environmental, health and safety management with a focus in development and implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Planning (RMP) programs. Larry has diverse experience in the chemical, consumer goods, specialty metals, automotive, oil & gas, pulp & paper, pharmaceutical and food/beverage industries. He is an expert with interpretation and compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations (including 29 CFR 1910.119 and 40 CFR 68); implementing policies and procedures to meet all federal, state and local requirements. Larry has worked in industry where his experience includes start-up and operation of manufacturing facilities, including training, program development, compliance and reporting of health, safety and environmental matters. During his tenure with ERM Larry has completed over 200 EHS and 170 PSM/RMP compliance audits. Larry is certified in Process Hazard Analysis facilitation and is a Certified Process Safety Auditor (CPSA). 

Brian is based in ERM’s Ewing New Jersey office. Brian has over 30-years’ experience in electrical safety, fire safety and energy storage systems in the following industrial environments: manufacturing, food processing, oil refineries, chemical processing, power transmission, ship repair, and pharmaceuticals. 

Brian has worked on projects in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, France, and India. Brian is a Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) through the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). 

Barry is a Chemical Engineer with over 30 years’ experience.  He has served the chemical, construction, and power sectors in a variety of VP and management level roles across  Process Safety, Occupational Safety, Human Performance, Sustainability, and Environmental compliance.   His experience includes the development and oversight of both process safety and programs, PSM/RMP audits, Human Error management, Emergency response programs, 

Management Systems development, Environmental Program Management, USACE EM-385 plan development, Marine Terminal Safety, Federal Motor Carrier compliance, and Reactive Hazards evaluation.  

Madhini is a Chemical‑Environmental Engineer and Process Safety Consultant with 11 years of experience supporting high‑hazard industries across Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, India, Qatar, and the United States. She specializes in LOPA, HAZOP, What‑If analyses, and quantitative risk assessments to identify hazards and strengthen layers of protection. Skilled in applying OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, API, CCPS, and global standards, she helps organizations enhance compliance, reduce operational risks, and improve process reliability. Madhini excels in collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver practical, defensible safety solutions and is committed to advancing environmental performance, operational excellence, and resilient safety cultures. 

Mr. Hector Garces is an ESG Digital Partner at ERM. With more than twenty years of experience, Hector has successfully led the implementation of technology solutions for EHS & Sustainability processes. Hector’s relationships with his clients go beyond the Go-Live of a project, managing teams to support and continuously improve the solutions. Hector has managed the implementation, customization, support and sustain of EHS Software like Sphera, Cority, Intelex, Enablon, ProcessMAP, SAP Environmental Health and Safety, M-Risk, etc. 

During his career, Hector has been able to deliver solutions that maximize the return on the investment by focusing on the areas that represent a priority to the customer’s strategy. 

Mona Hazur serves as the Regional Service Line Lead for Safe and  
Sustainable Operations at ERM North America, bringing over 18 years of  
expertise in air compliance, permitting, auditing, and Environmental  
Management Information Systems (EMIS). Her impressive client portfolio  
features industry leaders such as Dow Chemical and BASF. Mona has  
successfully led strategy workshops, managed both local and global  
projects, and developed high-performing technical teams. Furthermore, she  
shares her knowledge as a technical expert at various conferences and  
teaches a graduate course on Air Quality and Climate Change at the  
University of Houston – Clear Lake.
