Deb is a freshwater scientist with 20 years’ experience in environmental consulting, working at greenfield and developed industrial sites across numerous sectors in North America and internationally. She has a master’s degree in biology and expertise in a range of freshwater and marine services. She has extensive experience of leading and managing complex water-related projects in the mining sector. Deb is a discipline lead and senior reviewer for water scopes that includes baseline collection, water quality, water balance modeling, sediment quality, periphyton and benthic invertebrates. She is an effective project and discipline manager, demonstrating a commitment to value-based leadership. She collaborates closely with project teams to deliver successful projects while fostering productive and transparent relationships with clients.

Zoë is a Partner with experience in social performance including social due diligence assessments, stakeholder and Indigenous engagement, socio-economic and land use impact assessments, land acquisition and resettlement, audits, and social management planning. She uses a risk and impact management approach to understand complex issues faced by industrial developments. Zoë has a breadth of experience within the technology, mining, oil and gas, and transportation sectors. Zoë has project preparation and evaluation experience using the IFC Performance Standards, World Bank Safeguard Policies, and the Equator Principles. Zoë is based in Vancouver and has fieldwork experience in North America, Latin America, Africa and Asia.

Wade Brunham brings extensive experience collaborating with Indigenous and non-Indigenous community members, executives, government leaders, and regulators. He has a strong track record of leading safe, remote, multi-disciplinary scientific studies, as well as managing Aquatic and Terrestrial Offsetting and Biodiversity Programs. With a technical background in biology—specializing in wetland ecology—Wade has contributed to numerous mining, energy, and linear development projects. He has played a key role in designing hundreds of hectares of wetland offsetting and remediation projects.

Amit is a Partner at ERM with nearly 15 years of experience in geology and hydrogeology. He leads ERM’s Western Mining Team and Technical Mining Services across North America, guiding multidisciplinary teams of resource geologists, mining engineers, metallurgists, and environmental professionals in supporting mergers, acquisitions, and due diligence projects. Amit has been instrumental in establishing ERM’s second First Nation joint venture with Yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡi’it in Southeast British Columbia, a 51% Indigenous-owned environmental consultancy focused on “healing the land” and building community capacity. His expertise spans the entire mining lifecycle, from exploration and economic assessments to operations and closure.
