Critical Resource – a specialist advisory firm with expertise in assessing stakeholder, political and ESG risks for the mining and energy industry – was acquired by ERM in February 2020 (ERM announces acquisition of Critical Resource). Since 1 October 2023, the Critical Resource team operates fully under the ERM brand.
As we have done since our founding by Daniel Litvin in 2006, we continue providing strategic advice to mining and energy firms and their investors on ‘license-to-operate’ issues, often working for C-suite executives and boards. Our team specialises in socio-political, stakeholder and sustainability risk assessments of energy and mining assets to help companies unlock major commercial value, by managing these risks in a strategic and responsible way. We are also increasingly supporting other industries, including renewable energy and the technology sector, to address these issues. Furthermore, we provide group-level strategy advice to support companies in response to mega-trends, such as increased ESG pressures or shifting geopolitical risks.
If you would like to speak to a member of the team regarding how we could potentially support you, please email Henry Hall, Chris Hindle or Stacy Hope, using the contact details on the right.
