Sustainability and emerging chemical issues

Scientists learn more every day about the 45,000+ chemicals on the global market. As the public and regulatory agencies learn of those findings, they call for action.

ERM is working with clients at the cutting edge of chemical sustainability.  A team of three ERM authors, Kathleen Sellers, Denice Nelson and Nadine Weinberg, dug deeply into the data and published a book on this topic, entitled Emerging Contaminants: Anticipating Developments (CRC Press 2020).

We are proud to work with global innovation leaders like DuPont, which recently acknowledged ERM’s engagement in a press release on its achievements related to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS):

“To date, DuPont has achieved the following milestones...

Engaging with ERM, an accredited third-party expert and leading global provider of EHS and sustainability related services, to review our management of substances of current and emerging concern to further improve our processes and protocols.”
