Below you can access the three tools that make up the The Toolkit:
Results Mapper | The ILIT Model | Data Viewer
Results Mapper
The Results Mapper is a dynamic online tool using Tableau in which the user can easily view results using inputs from the ILIT Model and visually compare the results from different analysis scenarios. See at a glance how modifying inputs shifts results in your state.
Data Viewer
The Data Viewer allows users to explore and visualize the existing fast charging network as well as the metrics used in the analysis, including traffic data, commercial activity, demographic and environmental indicators, and other key inputs.
ILIT Model
The ILIT Model is a user-friendly Excel-based tool that allows users to evaluate and rank possible suitable locations for EV fast charging stations given specific inputs. This tool allows users to customize the analysis based on differing priorities for new EV charging infrastructure (e.g., some users may want to focus on identifying "gaps" in the existing DCFC network, while others may prefer to identify locations with high traffic volume and commercial activity). The model incorporates important spatial data to generate relative suitability scores for each census tract within the defined scope and can be conducted at the regional, state, and local level.
