ERM extends its Aberdeen offering
03 December 2012
ERM, one of the leading international providers of risk, safety, environmental, health and social consulting services is extending its offering to Aberdeen-based oil and gas clients.
Companies operating in the area will have local access to a full range of ERM services, from integrated risk management to environmental assessment, marine-based modelling and stakeholder engagement. The opening of an ERM Aberdeen office is a response to the needs of clients in the face of a buoyant North Sea oil and gas market and the urgent requirement for specialist skills in the area.
The team in Aberdeen will be led by ERM Partner James Davies, who has extensive local experience and will be supported by a number of other specialist disciplines as he continues to develop ERM services to oil and gas operators in the region.
He comments: “We will be looking to increase the number of Aberdeen-based staff over the coming months. We look forward to working with existing and new clients here, providing them with a local service, backed by ERM’s very considerable international experience in the oil and gas sector.”
The ERM Aberdeen team will have a particular focus on supporting new projects in the North Sea and helping the industry deal with the risks associated with ageing operational assets, including decommissioning.
Internationally ERM has grown to become one of the world’s leading sustainability consultancies with over 140 offices in 39 countries, employing over 4,700 people. In the UK and Ireland, we also have offices in Edinburgh, Manchester, London, Oxford, Swansea, Bristol and Dublin.
