ERM announced today that Simon Crowe is joining the company as the new Chief Financial Officer.

After more than 11 years with ERM, Andrew Silverbeck has decided to step-down and explore new career options. In order to facilitate a smooth transition, Andrew and Simon will work together until the end of the financial year on 31 March 2018. 

Simon Crowe brings with him a wealth of experience in private and public companies in the US, Europe and Asia. He joins ERM from Gaslog Ltd and Gaslog Partners LLC where he was the Group CFO and played a key role in their rapid growth.

Commenting on Simon’s appointment, Group CEO Keryn James said: “Simon is a commercially-minded CFO with a breadth of international experience, having worked with companies listed on New York, London and European stock exchanges. He has strong financial management and strategic leadership skills and a deep knowledge of our end markets. Simon is excited about joining ERM for its growth potential, its people and the work that we do and his considerable experience will benefit the future success of ERM. We are delighted that he has chosen to join us.”

Keryn, said: “We have been very lucky to have had the benefit of Andrew’s expertise for so long. Andrew has made a significant contribution to the firm through his leadership and strategic management of the firm’s financial position, his role in two private equity transactions and his engagement with the Partners of the firm. He has built a very strong finance team which will ensure that we have continuity and stability.”

Andrew has been an excellent partner to me and to the business and I am confident that he will bring his talents and expertise to his next endeavor.”

With the company strategically and financially well-positioned for its next period of growth, I feel the time is now right for me to seek new challenges outside of ERM.
