IOA Central America Energy Transition Roundtable

ERM is sponsoring and participating in the IOA Central America Energy Transition Roundtable, which brings together energy sector professionals with common roles and challenges to share ideas related to Central America energy transformation.
Many of the elements of the energy transition are being assessed at varying levels in countries of the region. Presentations from top government and industry professionals will focus on topics such as global and regional perspectives in the energy transition, policy and development energy, distribution and decentralization, technology and innovation.

Alberto Vega and Alejandro DeJesus will be participating in the conference.
Alberto Vega is a Senior Partner at ERM dedicated to Environmental and Sustainable Development. Specialized training in management and financial analysis, and a solid education in environmental and natural sciences, provide him with the ideal tools to successfully manage complex environmental protection and conservation projects and programs. He is a system ecologist with more than thirty-five years of professional experience including the execution and supervision of projects and programs in sustainable management and conservation of natural resources, environmental planning and protection, and sustainable development. He has significant experience in leading environmental and social assessments following the Equator Principles Framework and other International Best Practices such as IFC Performance Standards and IADB Safeguards.
Alejandro DeJesus is a Senior Project Manager, for ERM, providing services as advisor and consultant Hydrocarbon Industry. He has a very diverse professional experience in petroleum, facilities engineering, production, and environmental management. Mr. De Jesus has experience in the management of international environmental programs in Latin America, South America, and the United States and supervision of a regional environmental management team based in multiple countries. Has participated in several Environmental Impact Assessment in Latin America, including the Equator Principles and Performance Standards.
