CIS Petrochemicals conference is a largest high-level petrochemical event in the Eurasia region. The conference annually gathers more than 250 senior management representatives from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan as well as the highest-level executives from the petrochemical industry worldwide. ERM will sponsor and speak at this year’s CIS Petrochemicals conference in Moscow.

ERM Managing Partner for Eurasia Sergey Bourtsev will share his insights from 30 years of experience on management of HSE Risks of major capital petrochemical projects at the session Project Financing Strategies on Wednesday, April 5th 2017 at 14:00.

Special presentation: Case study – Effective management of non-technical risks in the international financing of large chemical projects. Environmental and social aspects.

The presentation will be followed by a facilitated discussion.

Sergey Bourtsev
Sergey Bourtsev is the Managing Partner of ERM in Eurasia region. He has over 30 years of progressively increasing responsibility in consulting and administrative work, environmental management, environmental/social assessment and review, and development of environmental legislation in the former Soviet Union and internationally. Sergey Bourtsev has a long term and unrivalled experience in EIA/SEIA preparation and review, environmental permitting, public consultations and disclosure procedures and stakeholder involvement and training in the former Soviet Union countries. He has vast experience in working with major international and local companies as well as intimate knowledge of the policies and requirements of the International Financial Institutions, including IFC, World Bank, EBRD, and OPIC. Sergey Bourtsev has extensive general experience of environmental, socio-economic, health & safety auditing of large projects in the Russian Federation and CIS- countries. He is currently involved in numerous large-scale projects and environmental assessment and EIA projects in Russia and other CIS countries.
