ERM and Enablon Client Seminar: Climate Change and the Energy Transition

31 January 2019
3:00 p.m.

The conversation around energy transition and climate change is growing ever louder, with the many of the impacts on economies, companies and individuals already being felt and gaining pace.

However, for every negative impact there is an opportunity for those organizations that are prepared. Together with Enablon and supported by IRM Institute of Risk Management, ERM is hosting a seminar to discuss these risks and the opportunities presented by this transition. Through the lens of the framework of Task Force for Climate Related Financial Disclosure (TCFD), this event will explore what and how Risk Management can do more to support and driveforward  value to our organizations.

In our seminar we will discuss the following questions:

  • How can Risk Management maximize the opportunity relating to climate change and the energy transition?
  • How can Risk Management adjust internally to position itself better to meet these challenges?
  • How can Risk Management leverage software to efficiently capture the opportunity?

Who should attend?
The seminar is aimed at senior risk managers/heads of risk in the manufacturing, oil and gas, chemical engineering and pharmaceutical sectors.
