Highlights from ERM: 9th Annual HSE Excellence Europe
16 November 2015
The HSE Excellence Europe Forum is one of Europe’s leading Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) events that brings together HSE professionals from a wide range of sectors for knowledge sharing, learning and networking.
This year’s conference, themed “Beyond Plateau Target Zero” was attended by 120 delegates from over 20 countries, including experts from industry and academia, who came together to share insights and best practices.
Recognizing the significance of the platform, ERM is proud to have sponsored and attended the event as Workshop Leader. This year the main focus was on how to move beyond this Target Zero objective and thus move beyond the ‘licence to operate’. Topics of discussion included health and wellbeing at work, disease prevention and impactful safety leadership. We learned about new ways to communicate on HSE and the interesting intersection between psychology and safety.
Having had time now to reflect on the event, we wanted to share this highlight document with some of the key observations and insights that we gained from the conference. Whilst it is not meant to be an exhaustive summary, we hope it stimulates thoughts on health and safety, or reinforces some of your own ideas, which we would be delighted to discuss further with you.
