Applying our Business Conduct and Ethics commitments across every ERM office and activity, every day, depends upon the involvement and awareness of individual employees and leaders.

We have established several recommended and mandatory online training courses on ethics and risk management, which are delivered through the ERM Academy. We continue to update our bribery, corruption and ethics training to address existing topics in greater detail for certain employees, deep reviews for specific jurisdictions, data privacy requirements (as part of implementing ISO 27001, the industry standard in this area) and other topics as required.

Slavery, Child Labor and Human Trafficking Policy

The purpose of this policy is to support international efforts against slavery, child labor and human trafficking in conformance with the ERM Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, the UK Modern Slavery Act of 2015, and other applicable international laws.

Data Privacy Policy

ERM is committed to protecting the privacy of personal data and maintaining the principles of integrity and trust in the course of our business. We have therefore developed ERM’s Data Privacy Policy (in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation). In this Policy we describe: 

  1. the kinds of personal data that we may collect about you;
  2. how we may collect and use that data;
  3. the lawful purposes for which we may process your personal data; and
  4. how we may share data across different locations. 

The Policy also sets out your data protection rights and offers information on how to contact us with questions / queries about your personal data.

ERM recognises that the tax it pays and collects is an important part of the Group’s wider economic and social impact, and that this plays a key role in the development of the countries where it operates. The purpose of this policy is to communicate the framework in which tax is managed within ERM.

Global Mobile Phone Policy

The purpose of this policy is to establish a global standard regarding the prohibition of use of any Mobile/Cell phones, Computers and all other Personal Digital Assistants or similar electronic devices (PDAs) while operating a personal, company-owned or rental vehicle as part of the Company’s Health & Safety requirements. In addition, this policy clarifies ERM’s position in respect of any devices used for navigation while operating vehicles as set out above.
