Prior to joining ERM, I worked for 12 years at an executive search and talent consulting firm. ERM hired me as a global Partner recruiter in March 2014.

Six months later, I became the lead recruiter for Partner hires in our Latin America and the Caribbean region and in September 2019, I was promoted to Talent Acquisition Director for our EMEA region overseeing all Partner and consultant level hiring.

It is so rewarding to see people I recruited develop in their roles and know that a business area is growing significantly because of the talent I identified and helped bring on board. As someone sitting in a support function, this is very satisfying professionally and why I decided to switch jobs for an in-house recruiting role.

I really enjoy my close working relationships with ERM hiring managers, who come from different cultural backgrounds across more than 10 countries. I am of mixed race: Italian and Taiwanese. I feel absolutely at home here because of the diversity of our staff. My colleagues are from very different nationalities, ethnicities and backgrounds, just like myself. ERM has a very accommodating culture and is respectful of differences.

The people I interact with are just wonderful. All are very genuine, highly educated and generous in sharing their knowledge. A career goes beyond professional development. A career is also about you as a person and other aspects of your personal goals or self-realization that are being fulfilled through your work day. Working at ERM helps me fulfill my personal and professional development.

Companies frequently talk about flexibility and flexible working arrangements, but these are only possible when you have a trusting culture like ERM’s. There are times when I need to be able to work from home. My manager trusts that when I do this, I will continue to deliver excellent results.

Most important of all, ERM is truly committed to sustainability. I have a young child, and protecting and improving our environment is really important to the next generation.
