Following a very successful career with McKinsey between 1983 and 2013, including international and global leadership roles, Mr. Casserley was appointed as the CEO of the global insurance broker Willis Group Holdings at the beginning of 2013, and then President of Willis Towers Watson following the merger of Willis with Towers Watson until the end of 2016. In addition to his role with ERM, Mr. Casserley is a Senior Advisor at Warburg Pincus LLC and is on the Board of SCM Corporation and McGill & Partners. He previously served on the Willis and Willis Towers Watson Boards.
Jonathan is a Managing Director with OMERS Private Equity and Co-Head of OMERS’ European Private Equity business. He joined OMERS in 2014 having spent the prior 19 years as a mid-market Private Equity investor across Europe. Jonathan is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc in Economics and Accounting from Bristol University.
Peter is the Senior Vice President for Private Equity and Relationship Investing at AIMCo, which he joined in 2012. Prior to this, he spent 16 years in investment banking. Peter holds the designation of Chartered Accountant and received his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen's University.
John has over 40 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry. He is currently a Non-Executive Director for BHP Billiton, The Weir Group and DOF Subsea. He is also a visiting professor at Strathclyde University in Process safety and Oil and Gas and is a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, holding a B.Eng from Sheffield University.
James is a Director in OMERS Private Equity’s London office. Since joining in 2013, he has been actively involved in Private Equity’s platform investments in V.Group, Lifeways and ERM. James also has board roles at Lifeways and ERM. James previously spent eight years in Corporate Finance at Ernst & Young in London and New York, providing M&A advice to private equity and corporate clients in the mid-market TMT sector. He also advised lenders and management teams of distressed portfolio companies on restructuring and exit options. James has a B.Sc. in Economics from Warwick University, and is a Chartered Accountant.
