ERM Stormwater Management Forum
30 August - 1 September 2010
Please join ERM at the 2010 AWRA International Specialty Conference on Tropical Hydrology and Sustainable Water Resources in a Changing Climate. This event will provide a unique perspective of the hydrologic impacts experienced in the United States and internationally from climate variations as well as the respective solutions currently being considered and implemented. The conference will share a local perspective of water resources professionals, who will discuss the predominant hydrologic issues in Puerto Rico, including the need for conjunctive use of water resources to augment supply, stormwater management under extreme weather conditions, water distribution management, hydrometeorology evaluations and groundwater quality management among others.
We invite you to join ERM Water/Technical Services Director Noel Marrero and ERM Construction Management Consultant Edgardo Santiago, PE, to discuss the issues related to stormwater management and how a sustainable design helps to minimize impact to groundwater. ERM will present a case study on how managing stormwater from the feasibility study and conceptual design, through compliance permitting strategy, and final design helped to improve the collection of the generated storm water and injection into the sinkhole located within a pharmaceutical plant in Puerto Rico.
Date: Tuesday, September 1, 2010
Time: 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
ERM will also be exhibiting at this event, visit Booth #6 at the Exhibitors Hall.
