ERM HIA Roundtable in Anchorage

ERM will be hosting a Health Impact Assessment (HIA) Roundtable for our resource development clients on 09 June 2010. HIA provides a platform for informed decision making through the investigation of potential health outcomes of a project.  Evidence-based recommendations provided through the HIA process present practical ways to maximize health gains and reduce or eliminate potential negative impacts or inequalities. Accordingly, HIA helps garner stakeholder support, and identifies workforce related health issues and new opportunities to protect and improve health.
