ERM established its office in Hong Kong in 1981 and now has over 80 members of fully qualified staff providing a wide range of ERM's services to private and public sector clients both in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and in the wider Asia Pacific region.

The Hong Kong office is one of ERM’s largest operations in the Asia Pacific region.  Our multi-cultural staff come from a broad spectrum of professional backgrounds, including environmental sciences, engineering, economics, landscape architecture and social sciences. These unique qualities have allowed us to understand the exact needs of our diverse clientele and have been a major drive for ERM’s service excellence in the HKSAR and Asia Pacific region. Our service profile covers environmental assessments, including environmental and social impact assessments in accordance with World Bank standards or Equator Principles, planning submissions, risk assessments and management, site investigation and remediation, regulatory or policy assessments, landscape design and master planning, and green building accreditation.

ERM’s Hong Kong office is one of the first Environmental Consultancies in the HKSAR to be certified to ISO 9001. With our more recent certification to the OHSAS 18001 standard, we implement an Integrated Management System for both quality and occupational health and safety assurance.
