ERM has had a presence in Colombia since 2005, and now employs over 30 staff distributed in our Bogota office, as well as consultants located in Medellin and Cali. Our Bogota office is strategically located in one of the city's more centralized commercial areas, allowing us to interact closely with all of our clients.

We have successfully promoted cooperation across stakeholder groups with conflicting interests, which has been instrumental for our clients as they work towards meeting their objectives sustainably.
Our Colombia team has been recognized as an industry leader in contaminated site management, and was instrumental in helping the Colombian Petroleum Association and the Ministry of the Environment develop a risk-based approach to calculate target levels for impacted sites. The guideline that was developed has helped reduce contaminated site management cost and timelines for the companies represented by the Colombian Petroleum Association, creating a constructive and transparent relationship with the environmental authorities.
