ERM has been meeting client needs in Canada for over 25 years and in 2003 established a permanent presence there. We now have four offices situated in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Montréal.

Since opening an office there, ERM’s Canadian operations have grown organically offering local contacts the full range of ERM’s services. Our ability to provide a diverse mix of environmental, health, safety, social and business consulting skills which provide services and strategic advice across a range of clients in the resource, forestry, power, financial and manufacturing sectors really is what differentiates us from our competitors. ERM is one of only a few companies in Canada to be able to offer a broad approach to sustainability management. Our unique ability to connect technical issues to financial and business risk has helped our clients better manage their business.  For example, we have successfully provided support on financial provisioning, environmental liability estimation, carbon footprinting, product life cycle analysis, water footprinting, financial estimation for carbon exposure, climate change vulnerability and adaptability, multiple contaminated site management, project development and site closure.
