ERM established its presence in Brazil in 1993 as a joint venture, with ERM acquiring the remaining shares in the company in 2006.  We now employ over 200 people and have offices in São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Florianópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and Belo Horizonte.

Our largest practice team focuses on Contaminated Site Management in addition to strong capabilities in Impact Assessment and Planning (IAP), Air Quality, Energy/Climate Change and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)/Compliance. Fast growing areas include Social Consulting Services and Risk related practices.

ERM is one of the biggest EHS consulting companies in Brazil, performing projects for important clients such as Vale, Petrobras, Whirlpool, TRW, Gerdau and Valeo, among others in all environmental areas. ERM´s Brazil operations are also ISO 9001:2000 certified.
