London, June 20 2008 – ERM today announced that David McArthur has assumed the role of CEO of ERM’s North American operations, effective from 1 August.

David McArthur, joined ERM in 2001 and for the past 2 years has held the role of Asia Pacific CEO, previous to this David was CFO/COO for the Asia Pacific region and also led the design and implementation of a global financial and project management system for ERM.

John Alexander, ERM’s CEO commented “North America is a strong and very important marketplace for ERM and last year the region experienced one of the best years in our history. With David McArthur’s appointment we are looking to build on this success with dedicated leadership to ensure we continue to collaborate and work effectively with our clients.”

David McArthur added “This is a great opportunity to focus on the North American market which is rapidly growing, even with the economic uncertainty. Environmental issues are no longer optional for organisations, in particular as they are looking at ways of ensuring compliance, minimising risk and becoming more cost effective.”
