The ERM Foundation was set up 12 years ago in North America by a group of ERM employees who wanted to make a difference and donate their own time and money to projects that would improve the environment. Now there are hundreds of employees in North America donating their personal time to local projects, and the North American Foundation has raised over US$1m in the past 12 years.
"I have been involved with Rebuilding Together for the past four years, serving as a volunteer coordinator during the April event for the last three. It is a great organization that helps revitalize people's lives as well as the community. Even though the home repair work is hard, it is never hard to find volunteers to help because the event is so rewarding, especially when you see the faces of the home owners." Heather Lee, Senior Engineer based in Sacramento, North America and ERM Foundation volunteer.
“It's a great feeling to be able to help a family make their home, and in turn their community, a better-looking place to live. And it's fun too.” Matt Scheeline, Geologist based in Sacramento, North America and ERM Foundation volunteer.
