- ensure best available techniques (BAT) are applied
- ensure conditions are set on releases to air, water and land
- ensure energy is used efficiently
- noise and vibration is controlled
- waste minimisation practices are in place
- soil and groundwater contamination is prevented
ERM can assist clients in the following areas:
- preparation of entire PPC permit applications, or sections as required;
- Best Available Techniques (BAT) Assessment;
- advice and assessments on specific areas such as air quality, noise, site investigation, waste, energy and BAT;
- gap analysis of existing permitting information to identify additional requirements for PPC; and
- negotiations with authorities and consultation with stakeholders during permitting processes.
