ERM has worked extensively in Russia and the Former Soviet Union (Eurasia) for more than 15 years on environmental, social, health and safety issues, particularly in relation to oil & gas and mergers & acquisitions. In 2005 ERM established a permanent presence in the Eurasia region to help respond to the strong market growth and the growing needs of our clients.
Multinationals are increasingly making Russia and the Former Soviet Union a focus for their expansion plans but face a system of environmental regulations that is radically different from what they are used both in the West and outside of this region.
Across Russia and the Former Soviet Union, ERM offers a full range of environmental services. This enables us to understand the ramifications of new legislation to business, governments and non-governmental organisations at local, national and global levels.
