Thirty years ago, ERM was founded around key guiding principles of entrepreneurial spirit, client focus, high performance, personal accountability, respect and integrity, passion for our work, appreciation for our colleagues and shared ownership by a Partnership.  These important values from our early days remain the cornerstone of our culture as we have grown and evolved in response to the changing needs of our clients.  Our dedicated focus to the environmental business keeps us focused on our vision: to be the environmental consultancy of choice worldwide. 

If you are looking for a traditional hierarchical corporate structure, you won’t find it here. Our “flat” organizational structure is built around our Partnership.  Key client and practice teams, led by Partners, collaborate across offices and work closely with project teams. This flat organizational structure enables ERMers to work on projects across multiple practice areas and client teams to diversify and deepen their experience base.  Our Partners engage with our clients, projects and people on a daily basis, keeping our local management teams close to the business.
