Code of Conduct

As a company, BP is committed to complying with all applicable legal requirements and BP’s high ethical standards. As a result, all BP employees must adhere to the principals and requirements contained in the BP Code of Conduct, or risk disciplinary action up to and including dismissal.

In 2009 BP Wind Energy joined other wind energy developers in endorsing and signing an industry code of conduct for wind energy development activities in New York.  This Wind Energy Code of Conduct provides specific rules and procedures that seek to avoid conflicts of interest by municipal officers or their relatives related to wind energy projects.

This Code of Conduct includes the public disclosure of potential conflicts of interest by municipal officers or their relatives.  As part of that disclosure, BP Wind Energy includes the following disclosures as required by the Code of Conduct:

  • Public Disclosures (in development)

If you wish to report allegations of government wrongdoing, please call the New York State Public Integrity Hotline: 1-800-428-9072.  Calls will be kept confidential.
