$6,500 to install two water wells to provide clean water to 50 homesteads, a school and a church in Kipingi, Kenya.

Orange County Professionals Chapter, Santa Ana, CA:
$12,000 to construct a footbridge over the Ewaso Ng’iro River to connect 4,200 people in Endana, Kenya to a medical clinic, school and clean water.

University of Colorado Student Chapter, Boulder, CO:
$5,000 to build a storage tank and water distribution system for 500 people in Namsaling, Nepal.

American Samoa Resource Conservation and Development Council, Pago Pago, AS
$18,000 grant award for two projects:
$10,000 to replant 20 acres of steep hillside with Vetiver grass to reduce erosion and the related degradation of 5 miles of streams and 1 mile of reefs.
$8,000 to integrate a piggery and tilapia ponds that will eliminate the discharge of liquid pig waste into the ground water, and use it to fertilize ponds to create algae which will then feed the fish.
